Jordan Craters

The Jordan Craters are a group of extinct and possibly active volcanoes north of Jordan Creek and west of Cow creek. Studies place the lava flow from the most recent of these volcanoes to be fairly recent, between 30,000 and 1,200 years old by different studies (Potassium Argon (K-Ar) and Lichen growth, respectively). Jordan Craters can be accessed off Highway 95; roughly 8 miles north of Jordan Valley is Jordan Craters sign pointing west onto Cow Creek road.
