Birch Creek

Birch Creek Historic Ranch is actually two ranches that were bought by the BLM in 1988 under the National Wild an Scenic Rivers Act. It's located roughly 38 miles northwest of Jordan Valley on the Owyhee River. It was put on the National Register of Historic Places in 1998. The Ranch has no telephone service and no concessions, but is open to the public and has camping facilities. Take the road to Jordan Craters, and when you get close to the Craters head North to the ranch.
